Acceptable Use Policy
Spam
Sending unsolicited commercial or non-commercial email (a.k.a. "spam" or "junk mail") is prohibited. The use of webonline's servers or the use of a website or an email address hosted by webonline in an unsolicited email is prohibited.
Email (General)
Cross-posting messages to a large number of usenet groups, posting obscene or threatening messages while using or referring to a webonline's email address or web site URL is prohibited. The use of webonline's services as a mail drop for responses to activities described above is prohibited.
Security
Attempts to manipulate webonline's servers or client web sites are prohibited. This includes, but is not limited to, attempting to gain unauthorized access to webonline's servers, mail bombing, or other means of deliberately overloading systems. webonline does not allow insecure passwords on the servers. webonline will not replace a password with a "easy one".
System Abuse
Includes, but is not limited to, excessive use of CPU resources or disk space, installing IRC bots, CGI scripts sharing with domains outside of webonline, or other CGI scripts that use a disproportionate amount of system resources. webonline will determine what constitutes system abuse.
Web Site Content Management
webonline isn't responsible for web site management or files lost or damaged by users. Web site construction and management is the responsibility of the client. Client-maintained backup of all site files is recommended, and should be maintained outside of webonline's network.
Indemnification/Disclaimer
webonline doesn't guarantee that our services will be uninterrupted and will not be held liable for any claims resulting from the use or the inability to use webonline's Services - including, but not limited to, service interruptions, Internet connectivity problems, unauthorized access to webonline's servers, domain name registrar problems, DNS caching, Internet bandwidth congestion, power failures, and natural disasters.
Adult Content, Peer-to-peer (P2P) and Warez Sites
webonline reserves the right to terminate hosting agreements should the client be found to be hosting content of an adult nature, peer-to-peer (P2P) or warez. webonline reserves the right to determine what constitutes adult nature, peer-to-peer (P2P) or warez.
Website Content
webonline reserves the right to terminate hosting agreements without notice should webonline receive any complainants about a website's contents from any third party.
Lotteries and Prizes
webonline reserves the right to terminate hosting agreements without notice for websites offering lottery services or prizes.
POP3 email accounts
No client may make use of any POP3 account hosted with webonline as a part of any form of Web Mail interface. No client may therefore run a private Web Mail interface on their site. No client may make use of an "unlimited alias" pop3 account to provide free email on their site. No client may store email on webonline's mail servers. All email must be downloaded to clients PC. (webonline does not back-up email)
Policy Violation
If an account is used unlawfully or is in violation of the Acceptable Use Policy, webonline reserves the right to terminate the account without notice and without refunds. Files that violate the user policy are subject to deletion without notice. Clients violating the Acceptable Use Policy will be held responsible for damages to webonline, including but not limited to, webonline's systems, servers, connectivity, reputation, business, financial, service, network, operations, or equipment.
Amendments to the Acceptable Use Policy
The Acceptable Use Policy may be updated from time to time. The client is responsible for visiting webonline's website on a monthly basis, so that the client may be made aware of any changes in this policy.
